Getting Ready for the Lucketts Fair

I can’t believe it has been a year since I started this blog. Although I really didn’t get blogging until January of this year. But believe it or not I started to blog shortly before Amanda and I were vendors at the Lucketts fair, for the first time. The picture on the left was taken shortly before the craziness of that first day started! It was fun, we sold a lot of stuff and met some great people. Long story short, we signed up for it again this year! And this year we have upped our game… We will have not one, but two spaces, and we will also still have things for sale at the Stylish Patina Barn that same weekend. Just typing this makes me feel exhausted! But we are already hard at work and I thought it would be fun to show you some items that are already in the hopper and ready for new homes. So without further ado here is what you have been waiting for…

Just look at this AMAZING settee Amanda has put together. She really does a great jog upholstering and I personally don’t think it will even make it down to Lucketts before someone snatches it up.

She also have a very cute slipcovered wingback and a very unique german linen, and german grain sack upholstered wingback on the block right now. Hopefully we will have pics of that soon, so check back.

Here are a couple of things that I will be bringing to the Lucketts fair. It has been too cold outside to paint so I have been working on some upholstery pieces and here are two of them! I will be showing a before pic of the little linen ottoman in an upcoming post but here is the final product and I think they both turned out pretty cute!

We have a lot more stuff, and a lot of things in the works. But I will be posting more pics of my Facebook page, and we will also be posting these items for sale on our Etsy sites as well (for all of you who can’t wait till Lucketts to have these beauties to yourself).

I heard through the grapevine that we are supposed to have some warmer weather in store for where I live. So I guess I know what I will be doing this weekend, yes, painting furniture!

Have a wonderful rest of your week!

  3. Hello,

Does Amanda take on custom upholstery work? I have a long bench that fits infront of a king size bed and I would love to have a slipcover made – similar to the one in the ottoman above in a white fabric. I am in the NOVA area. Thanks 🙂
